Now I Play Along Too Instrument Drive
Attendees are invited to bring used instruments to benefit Now I Play Along Too. Now I Play Along Too is a non-profit (501c3) founded by Melodime, which contributes musical instruments and funds for music lessons to disadvantaged youth. Melodime’s Americana-flavored songs merge a slight country twang with rock and roll, successfully blending stunning piano melodies with catchy guitar riffs and sing-along choruses. Melodime, featuring Brad Rhodes (lead vocals, acoustic guitar), Sammy Duis (piano, organ, bass), Tyler Duis (drums), and Jon Wiley (bg vocals, guitar, mandolin, dobro), has performed 125+ shows annually throughout the continental United States, sharing the stage with such well-known acts as  Sam Hunt, Jonny Lang, A Thousand Horses, and Sister Hazel.


Ben Lubeck is a songwriter based in Minneapolis. He is a founding member of Farewell Milwaukee and has released three records with the band. Rented Rooms is Ben’s first solo effort. The album was recorded with Brad Bivens in-between Ben’s schedule with Farewell Milwaukee. Ben tracked the vocals and guitar live then augmented each song with contributions from notable Twin City musicians including Ben Kyle, Adam Levy, Jacob Hanson, Alex Young, and many more. The album was conceived as an act of reconciliation toward’s Ben’s father, while contemplating his own new found status as a dad.
