ANDREW BRODER

Andrew Broder started off as a battling, scratching turntablist in the mid 90’s. While his main project, Fog took him further and further away from his hip-hop roots, Andrew re-immersed himself in something like rap in 2011, and all is right in the world again. BrodR is the moniker under which he creates and performs beats, instrumental and / or for rappers.

K.RAYDIO

No dashes or spaces. Soul based. Hip hop embraced. Writer and vocalist raised in Minneapolis, MN. Defying convention since 1988.

THE CLOAK OX

The Cloak Ox is made of four staunch music-making Midwestern men. They are Andrew Broder, Jeremy Ylvisaker, Mark Erickson and Martin Dosh and their names may be familiar. Of course, they may not be. They hail from Minneapolis, MN, and have been friends for many years, playing a lot—a lot—of music together and apart. They have started bands, quit bands, restarted bands, played in others’ bands, inspired other people’s bands that became very successful, and even sometimes joined those bands after the fact. Suffice it to say, they have played damn near every kind of music there is to play.

RONiiA

RONiiA (pronounced Row-nee-a) is Nona Marie Invie (Dark Dark Dark, FUGITIVE), Mark McGee (Father You See Queen, Marijuana Deathsquads) and Fletcher Barnhill (Joint Custody, FUGITIVE). Together they produce a mysterious world full of departure, rejection, and love made from dark beats and scuffed up synths. Electronic music that is stripped of its gloss, as wildly innovative as it is original.
