The Carnegies are about REAL, authentic music that today’s modern generation has seemed to have forgotten. Roman Mars: Bass, Royce Mars: Guitar, Brandon Cox: Drums, Owen Hiber: Guitar. In memory of Taylor Tolle, founding member of The Carnegies.

SEAFARER got its start in late 2012 after Patrick Schiavone (guitar, vocals, synth) moved to the Twin Cities from Chicago. Upon arriving he met Rob Haack (2012-2016) while performing together in a band they both joined after responding to a Craigslist ad. In the spring of 2012 the decided they would try to form something of their own, and put their fate in Craigslist once again, which resulted in the original lineup of Patrick, Rob, Brian Huhn (bass/vocals) and Bill Bruss (guitar, synth).

SEAFARER’s debut EP was recorded in the summer of 2016 at Blue Bell Knoll and released in May of 2017. After the recording Rob relocated to Costa Rica and the band was back to Craigslist. We added Jesse Bruflodt on drums in early 2017 and Calvin Keyes on synths and vocals later in the year. We are currently writing a follow up to the debut, playing local shows, and scheming up a small Mid West Tour in 2018. The band has come a long way and couldn’t be happier with the current lineup.

Driftwood Pyre began in the winter of 2012, when producers Liam Watkins (First Communion Afterparty) and Aaron James (Rockinghorse People) found themselves in the midst of the Midwest’s flourishing psychedelic scene. Rising from the ashes of their former projects, they built a studio in the Northeast neighborhood of Minneapolis and began recording what would become the seeds of the band’s defining sound.

By the fall of 2012, they had enlisted Joe Werner (Bridge Club) and Jeanne Oss to further develop their recordings, and the final lineup was formed when Marie Debris found her way to the Twin Cities. In the time since, Driftwood Pyre has continued to evolve and cement its roots into the Minneapolis psychedelic/garage scene. The band released its self-titled debut album on EXAG records in 2014, followed by the Strangeways EP in 2017.
